Deep Stories - the story behind a photograph is a series of short videos produced by Rotterdam Photo, an annual photo fair Taking place during Rotterdam Art Week.
I was invited to share my own 'deep story' about the terrifying events that took place in the Italian city of Bergamo in March 2020. Bergamo will always be a weeping symbol of the first wave of the pandemic: it has reported over 3.000 coronavirus-related deaths that could rise to 6.000, if compared to the average of deaths registered over the same period in recent years.
